Planning the full recovery phase: an antifragile perspective on surgery after COVID-19

Abstract

The recent literature has highlighted the needs for surgical systems to develop antifragile strategies in recovering from the COVID-19 crisis. Building on crisis management theory, our paper explores antifragility principles and their possible practical applicability to the surgical system.
