Prospective memory, the capability to remember to accomplish an action in the future, plays an essential role in children's everyday life. The present study is a small section of a bigger research (N = 250) that aims to find a directional link between executive function (EF) and prospective memory (PM) in children. The central goal was to observe the effects of switching training on PM performance. Therefore an experimental design that included a pre-test, eight sessions of switching training and a post-test was created. 80 children were either attributed to the switching training group (N = 45) or the control group (N = 35) that did not participate in the training sessions. Participant's age varied between six to ten years. During pre- and posttest all the children were tested on PM and EF tasks. The results revealed that comparing to the control group, the EF performance of the training group increased in a robust manner. Nevertheless the effect of the switching training on prospective memory performance did not reach statistical significance
