Abstract

We read with great attention the comment made by Tang et al1 regarding our systematic review and meta-analysis. Tang et al raised the concern that we could have missed publications by limiting our search strategy to the MEDLINE database and proposed to systematically perform a thorough search by looking into the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials and EMBASE.
