A mass conserving boundary condition for lattice Boltzmann models

Abstract

This paper proposes a new boundary condition which conserves mass exactly and exhibits a faster convergence than the halfway bounce-back in a Poiseuille flow. This boundary condition has some free parameters that can be used to improve significantly the accuracy of the simulation.
