Abstract | The κ-deformed D = 4 Poincaré algebra is obtained by a special contraction of the real quantum Lie algebra Uq(0(3, 2)). We describe this contraction and study the consequences of the κ-deformation of the relativistic energy formula for the kinematics of scalar massless and massive particules. The notion of κ-relativistic energy region is defined. The κ-deformed quantized Klein-Gordon scalar field is introduced. | |
