Abstract

The canton of Valais contains one of the most important Swiss Neolithic sites: Petit-Chasseur in Sion. While this site is already internationally renowned for its megalithic necropolis dating from the Late Neolithic to the Early Bronze Age as well as for its beautiful anthropomorphic stelae, it also has occupation levels dating to the Middle Neolithic and burial sites of the Second Iron Age.
