Abstract

Ce texte revient sur le chantier de l'Ariana confié par Gustave Revilliod à l'architecte-entrepreneur Emile Grobéty. Le focus est particulièrement fait sur l'inachèvement du "grand escalier", malgré le recours à l'expérimenté maître d'oeuvre Jacques-Elysée Goss. Le grand hall laissé vide demeure l'un des éléments les plus frappants du bâtiment.
