The present dissertation addresses the topic of the assessment of localisation usability, presenting a special checklist of general localisation guidelines which could be used to easily analyse the usage suitability of the localised versions of any video game. The applicability of these guidelines is verified in practice by performing heuristic evaluation on three localised versions of the video game League of Legends. Apart from this checklist in the form of a spreadsheet, the dissertation includes a detailed description of the conceived guidelines as well as the results of the evaluation. These results show not only that all the analysed versions respect localisation usability guidelines, but also that the checklist can be successfully applied to video games.
