These cells are located in the epidermis. After an injury they can polarize and migrate to fill the wound. The litterature is rich in theoretical and experimental works describing from a mechanical point of view the motion of a single keratocyte. However, little is known about collisions between cells. The behavior of colliding keratocytes and the mechanisms behind this are still unclear today. In this work, the goal is to explore and describe the variety of collisions and extend a phenomenological model of cell polarization and migration to include cell-cell collisions.
