A high clinical suspicion of NF was confirmed by her laboratory risk indicators for necrotizing fasciitis score and magnetic resonance imaging. Blood cultures were positive for Streptococcus pyogenes . Successful outcomes were achieved through antibiotic treatment and an isolated surgical exploration using negative-pressure wound therapy.
