Caddisflies were sampled in 2014 and 2015 in the adult stage via light-traps. A comparison with historical data in the same sector was also carried out. Our results exemplified how side-channels contribute to the maintenance of sector-scale aquatic biodiversity; especially through the lateral coexistence of species.
