Early fatal pontocerebellar hypoplasia in premature twin sisters

They presented with hypertonia, jitteriness, spontaneous and provoked myoclonic jerks (hyperekplexia), apnoeic episodes, and progressive microcephaly. They died at 7 weeks of age from respiratory failure.
