Abstract | This chapter looks at the links between tourism and nationalism by analysing war heritage touristification in the young states of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia. Reflecting the widely shared assumption that the memory attached to the wars of the nineties in the former Yugoslavia are often associated with nationalist narratives, it maintains that tourism can also be considered as a vector for nationalism, especially when it is related to cultural heritage. | |
