Abstract The determination of the enantiomeric purity of chiral Mn(CO)3 complexes of substituted anisoles and toluenes is conveniently carried out by 1H NMR analysis after anion exchange with TRISPHAT, the chiral anion behaving as a diamagnetic chiral shift reagent.
