Abstract

The hyperfine constants for ¹⁶⁷Er and ¹⁶³Dy in Pd are found to be - 78 ± 4 G and ± 87 ± 7 G respectively. The spectrum of ¹⁶⁷Er is found to be anisotropic and to exhibit extra lines which we believe to be forbidden transitions induced by nuclear quadrupole interaction effects.
