The thesis is divided into three main parts, which in turn are subdivided into chapters: the first part is dedicated to the presentation of the phenomenon of mobbing, which will be defined from a sociological point of view, presenting the research and the perspectives of two experts on mobbing, such as Heinz Leymann and Harald Ege. The second part focuses on the legal framework of mobbing, thus taking into account EU, Italian and Swiss legislation on the matter. Finally, the third part includes the translation of a judgement from the Swiss Federal Supreme Court, from German into Italian. A comment on the translation choices and on the terminological differences between Italian of Italy and Italian of Switzerland follows.
