This thesis' aim was to create a glossary (English-Arabic) based on the handout “Petite phraséologie portative”. To achieve this objective, we used Velardi's method (Velardi et al, 2006), which seeks to create a glossary via a collaborative research project. The methodology here consists of collecting vocabulary, collecting definitions, establishing format rules, reviewing and comparing for consistency, selecting preferred equivalents, then reviewing and finalizing the glossary. However, this methodology was adapted so that it would meet the objective of the present work. This will be discussed in the research design and method section.
