Endor investigation of Gd3+ in CaF2 crystals

Abstract

ENDOR measurements have been performed on cubic Gd3+ in CaF2 to investigate the transferred hyperfine interaction due to the F- neighbours. The first shell shows a negative isotropic part, 1As=-1.840 MHz.
